Our Philosophy

We develop our student’s music lessons in the styles they want to learn in an encouraging and exciting environment. No matter what your level of experience or musical taste, our experienced private instructors will will provide music lessons that are achievable. We focus not only on rudimentary techniques, theory, and repertoire devoted to your instrument, but also practice skills. Success starts with teaching students “HOW” to practice. The instructors will teach you key techniques to make the most of your practice time at home.

Our History

The Lesson Studio began providing music lessons 2004 in south Boulder, with two chairs, music stand, a couple guitars, a piano, and a few eager instructors looking to create a great atmosphere for students to accomplish their musical aspirations. Over the next four years our studio grew in popularity and was offering lessons for over 15 instruments. With a growing student body and new instructors being added every season, The Lesson Studio moved to its current location in 2008. Since then our programs support upwards of 400 students per year and looks forward to the future.
